The 12 Cutest Babies all receive the following:
- Featured one month on the two page monthly calendar pages.
- Featured in the middle and the back of the calendar.
- Featured as a cutest baby on our news racks and in-store locations throughout the year.
- 10 Free calendars and 3 free rack cards * Featured on special in paper ads throughout the year.
- Photo session with professional Bill Butler.
- Invitation to the winners’ party.
Most important is all proceeds go to help put newspapers in classrooms as a critical learning tool throughout all Yuma county.

To Vote:
- You must register and login to vote for your favorite baby online, or come by the Yuma Sun office, 2055 S Arizona Avenue, and visit the Circulation department.
- Votes are $1 each and can be purchased online in groups of 5. To purchase your votes, click the 'Buy' button at the top of the page, choose the number of votes you'd like to purchase from the drop-down and enter your information. Votes may also be purchased in any amount at the Yuma Sun office, 2055 S Arizona Avenue, in the Circulation department.
The overall winner will be featured on the 2012-2013 Baby of the Year full page calendar, and the top 12 vote getters will be featured on rack cards around Yuma County.
All proceeds from the Baby of the Year Contest & Calendar will be used to support the Yuma Sun’s Newspapers In Education program. Our NIE program provides newspapers to local teachers for use as part of classroom instruction at no charge to the schools.
